Yes! Replace your faucet, soap dispenser, air gap, garbage disposal, sink and even dishwasher when installing a new kitchen. As these fixtures are removed and left unused during the duration of the remodel, things can dry out and fail. Also though these fixtures may look good on your old countertop, when they are held next to your new countertop they will simply look used. If you insist on reusing them, it will be your responsibility to thoroughly clean the fixture before reinstallation.
